Cost Verification Consultant required for leading international consultancy working on major infrastructure projects in the UK.

Contract or permanent opportunities.
Rates and salary negotiable on relevant experience.
Hybrid Working arrangements with travel to either London or Birmingham offices 1-2 days per week.

Role Brief:
Undertake Cost activities in accordance with the terms of contracts through substantive verification of costs and by assessment of contractors accounting and control systems.
Undertake Cost Verification activities focusing on contract compliance with conditions on the contract.
Undertake Cost Verification activities and guidance on the application of appropriate Cost Verification Process.
Provide commercial assurance and verification of costs on major infrastructure projects.
Assessment of contractor’s accounting and commercial systems and processes.
Experience of Commercial/Contract Management or Accounting background.
Experience of Cost Verification and Audit Assignments.
