The Opportunity
Are you a vibrant and enthusiastic communications professional, looking for a new challenge in a fast paced environment? Ford & Stanley are recruiting a Customer Focus Manager to join our growing team, based at our head office on Pride Park, Derby.
This is a diverse role reporting directly into the Sales & Commercial Director with a dotted line into the MD. The role is supporting three key areas of the business: bidding and tendering, marketing and communications and customer service excellence.
You will play a pivotal role in positioning the Ford & Stanley brand, developing compelling on-brand communications (both internal and external), project managing activities and measuring results.
The Candidate
We are actively looking for someone with strong communication and organisational skills, who is fluent in business-to-business marketing and communications, planning and execution. You will be required to think on your feet, be creative and have a collaborative 'can do' attitude across all aspect of your work.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a marketing, communications or client facing role. Key attributes as follows:
Key responsibilities
- To create, develop and maintain bidding materials for the Ford & Stanley Group, including corporate templates/forms, case studies, client presentations, etc
- Management of all internal and external communications on behalf of Ford & Stanley including (but not limited to):
- Writing copy for the purpose of publication such as employee notices/bulletins, external press releases/editorials, industry news articles, etc
- Targeted e-marketing campaigns
- Management of all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, etc) on behalf of the Group (including the use of Hootsuite)
- Assistance in writing engaging job descriptions and vacancy related communications for external publication
- Generation of company marketing materials including corporate presentations, consultant profiles, 'about' documents, visual aids for use on social media, etc
- To organise, plan and manage events on behalf of Ford & Stanley, liaising with external partners such as Rail Media and Mainspring
- Lead the company Net Promoter Score (NPS) programme, on both a client and candidate level
- Produce management information and reporting on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, as required
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in a marketing, communications or client facing role
- Strategic thinker who can plan a vision and articulate the executable plan to deliver
- Excellent communicator who can distil complex technical solutions into value based messaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has experienced driving a multi- channel marketing and sales support campaigns, and ideally integrated via a robust CRM solution
- Can evidence a highly organised and planned approach to challenges
- Ability to plan workload effectively in order to deliver to deadlines, being hands on when necessary
- Comfortable to work on own initiative / self-motivated
- Advanced MS Office professional in packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Desirable: Degree level educated or equivalent marketing qualification
