Samuel Knight Rail are recruiting for a Design Coordinator to join a tier 1 contractor, currently delivering works on a high profile London station enhancement programme.

Our client have delivered a programme of structural enhancements and aesthetics to a hub of the City , to increase capacity while making the journey a smoother and more pleasant experience.

We are seeking a Design Coordinator on their behalf to assist with the latter stages of the project - we envisage a 6 to 8 month close out period from January 2018 through to Summer. Requirements of the role will be as follows:

• Work collabrotivley with Design Manager and Engineering / Construction Managers to provide a seemless coordination of design and build
• Deliver design documents in relevant Crossrail & Network Rail formats where necesary
• Participate in Engineering and Design meetings, as well as project wide meetings.
• Contribute to transition design held by sub contractor to principal contractor

This is a very central location which has excellent transport links, and would suit an experienced Design Coordinator looking for a medium to long term opportunity.
