My client on the lookout for a collaborative Ecologist to join their team in Derby. The full-time Ecologist role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

Your responsibilities as an Ecologist include, but aren't limited to:

• Working on habitat management and creation.
• Carrying out environmental impact assessments.
• Analysing and interpreting data to make it actionable and meaningful.
• Liaising with and advise site managers, engineers and planners.
• Creating collaborative relationships with stakeholders, colleagues including members of the public.

You will have experience of presence/absence surveys for GCN, bats, reptiles and badgers. Bat building assessments and basic PEA's will form the basis of your early work with us whilst you develop a level of competency in Phase 1 surveying. Species licenses are not essential for the role, but the desire to carry out additional learning to secure licences is desirable.
