Role: Estimator
Pay: Freelance or Perm
Location: Birmingham / London
We have been requested by our client to recruit 4 Estimators to join their Rail team in Birmingham / London to work on the new East West Rail project connecting East Anglia with Central, Southern and Western England.
Duties will include:
* Carrying out monthly project control meetings and meeting monthly internal governance criteria
* Assisting in preparation of monthly management reports / liason with portfolio manager
* Implementing the management of an Estimating team to provide timely estimating support
* Provide high level solution costs for risk and value process evaluation
* Ensure documentation for Delivery Milestone submissions is in place on time and quality - this must include any Alliance governance requirements.
To qualify you must have:
* Degree qualified in an Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant degree.
* ACostE/MRICS/MCIOB qualified is desirable
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
* Familiarity with an existing estimating package CANDY, CONQUEST, CAUSEWAY etc.
* Extensive experience working on Rail / Highways projects
