Estimator - Rail - £50K - 40K - Thurrock, Essex - Specialist Subcontractor

My client, a specialist tiling subcontractor are looking for an estimator to work in their office based in Thurrock which has a real family feel environment.

Principal Duties & Accountabilities:

• Working with both new and existing clients, you will analyse tender documents to ensure you fulfil the clients requirements
• Take part in site surveys with the client to determine their requirements, and then transpose the information gathered into clear templated pricing documents.
• You will work closely with the operational function and ensure there is buildability while also liaising (and reporting in to) the estimating manager
• Work closely with the sales team to determine the USP's.

Key Experience:

• Degree Qualified
• At least 5+ years experience working as an estimator
• You could have previously working on Rail, Commercial or Hospital Projects (not specifically rail)
• Over all you must have good attention to detail and great at time management
• Good organisation and interpersonal skills.
• be self-motivated and have the ability to manage your own workload
