ASSEMBLY FITTER - EAST MIDLANDS - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - GENEROUS £PER HOUR RATE


ARM are working with a very well-known engineering company based in the East Midlands and we are currently recruiting for Assembly Fitters to join the team for a 12 month contract initially.


About You:
In order to be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria: You will hold a recognised time-served apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, at either City and Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, and BTEC national or equivalent qualification. You will have experience of using and reading technical drawings, working within quality and with engineering tools. You will already hold the knowledge of lean principles and processes along with knowledge of quality tools, systems and procedures.



What you will be doing:
This position is working for a well-known engineering company and will see you working within assembly fitting engineering components. Also you will raise issues where parts do not meet quality. The work requires a high level of rigour, as the end product must be built to the highest standards.



This position will be based in Derby and will see you onsite working within the assembly and test facility. This will involve shift working also.

Due to the nature of the work done, this position will need a DBS check to be completed. We can only consider those who are eligible to work in the UK for this role.
