Fleet Planner
Based at Carlisle or Crewe
£32,252 to £37,088

DRS are looking to recruit a Fleet Planner, to be based at either the Carlisle or Crewe.
As Fleet Planner, we’ll look to you to successfully plan and manage all planned preventative maintenance on the DRS fleet of locomotives, coaching stock and wagons.

To be successful, you should be educated to GCSE (grade A-C or equivalent in Maths, English and Sciences) with an NVQ and/or qualification in a relevant field. You’ll have rail industry experience, coupled with experience of following and developing procedures and processes and implementing systems and processes.

We are looking for someone who is well-organised with excellent time management skills, and effective written and verbal communications skills. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to manage your workload under pressure. Flexibility and willingness to travel is a must.
