TXM Recruit are working with a Transport Operator in London to recruit a Fleet Planner to join the Rolling Stock team in East London.  The post holder will be responsible for the management and delivery of planning activities for maintenance, overhauls, and modifications for our Rolling Stock.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the planning strategy to manage and control all Rolling Stock related engineering activities.
• Support and deliver all planning aspects of Rolling Stock maintenance in accordance with safety, reliability, and performance subjects. 
• Assist in the planning and organisation of Rolling Stock performance improvements and scoping of development of KPIs from the data analysis to drive reliability.
• Plan all activities undertaken in Rolling Stock engineering to maintain the fleet (all maintenance, restorations, and modification work).
• Ensure that work is planned effectively and efficiently to deliver availability and reliability in accordance with company targets.
• Effectively communicate maintenance plans with the Production Manager and Engineering team, and update Asset Management Systems with work done.
• Support the Planning Manager with the annual maintenance plan.
• Manage maintenance records and support audits when required.
• Support the Planning Manager with all new maintenance planning, including new fleet introduction.
• Deputise for the Planning Manager when absent.

Essential

• HNC/D qualified or equivalent railway engineering qualification.
• Experience in Rolling Stock planning and have an appreciation of all Rolling Stock disciplines.
• Excellent experience in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel etc. and Maximo.
