HSQE Manager (Rail),

Location
Cardiff / Swindon with travel to South Yorkshire on occasion

Salary / Benefits

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependant on experience plus car and package with hotel accommodation & travel where needed.

Company Information

A fast paced multi discipline tier 1 railway contractor is looking to take on a HSQE specialist to drive their HSQE team to the next level.

This would suit someone looking to step up and who enjoys being on site and communicating with staff and is passionate about maintaining and delivering a safe working environment.

To be suitable for the position you must have

- Some experience of HSEQ management within the UK Rail industry
- Site based project experience in Health & Safety
- Hold a NEBOSH diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Experience writing WPP's / Task Briefings
- Membership of IOSH
- A full clean UK driving licence

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have

- CMIOSH or working towards
- Any other relevant Qualifications

Responsibilities

- Conduct audits/ inspections/training/tool box talks/ RAMS/ safety stand down days/meetings/ investigations/ inductions and reports.
- Responsible for communicating, championing and empowering all staff by delivering continuous HSEQ improvement and culture.
- Promoting a positive HSEQ environment by sharing knowledge, skills and information to staff, subcontractors and clients. Leading by example, being hand's on and a team player.
