We are currently looking for a Highways Regional Director based in Manchester for a leading and award-winning engineering design consultancy. Within the role you will be a self-starter able to deliver and lead highways projects, lead teams, and demonstrate the ability to support the companys growth. As the Highways Regional Director your typical job duties can include but are not limited to:
Job Requirements
As mentioned, this role is based in the Northwest, specifically Manchester with the option to operate hybrid working so would suit candidates in the surrounding areas such as Liverpool or Manchester. - Manage project resources within the business unit, including the recruitment, supervision and development of multidisciplinary and multi-location teams
- Promoting the companies brand and working with other directors and clients to develop new business opportunities and client relationships
- Ensure compliance with the business financial and performance targets and indicators through the effective monitoring and leadership of people and projects.
- Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets.
- Ensuring operation in compliance with relevant industry legislation and design standards, quality management systems and procedures.
- Consistently demonstrate the behaviours expected of a senior professional, guide others
Job Requirements
- Chartered Status with a recognised professional institution
- 15 years experience delivering relevant technical and professional services within Highways Engineering
- Proven Leadership skills and the ability to deliver efficient financial performance
- Experience developing and leading opportunity pursuits, business and account management and experience establishing and developing Client relationships.
- Demonstrable experience of project management including experience of change management.
