As Interface Manager (Rail M&E and Comms Systems) you will be supporting the employer in managing the interface between the Stations and System-wide teams, plus one or more third party team which may include BLL/LU/NR/RFL. You will oversee the delivery of satisfactory Testing and Commissioning and Construction Certification process across the M&E and Comms systems discipline areas of responsibility.

As Interface manager (Rail M&E and Comms Systems) you will be managing, checking, and monitoring all testing and commissioning activities are coordinated successfully with all stakeholders including stations and system-wide contractors and third party interfaces. You will carry out audits of contractors to ensure adherence to assurance criteria required by the project.

You will need to develop strong working relationships with the respective third party, system-wide and Station teams. you'll need to keep records and maintain compliance to third party processes and procedures. Mitigate risks for the delivery of the test and commissioning teams activities and ensure that all Contractors adhere to project requirements. You'll also be involved in overseeing dynamic tests and energisations. Must also ensure that the certification regime is strictly adhered to by all parties involved in the test and commissioning activities.

To be considered for this role you will have extensive knowledge of third party interfaces such as BLL/LU/NR/RFL including relevant processes and procedures.Experience of Railway M&E and Comms in a major station infrastructure environment. Experience of managing complex interfaces in a railway construction environment. You should hold a professional qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an associated discipline. Strong understanding of railway systems in particular in the testing and commissioning of railway M&E and Comms Systems.
