Land Access Coordinator in Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom
We're looking for a land access Coordinator to work alongside the Interface Management team for HS2 associated works.
The opportunity offers long term Freelance work for responsibility of land access and land acquisition / possession within the route.
You will need to attend and lead Final Land Acquisition Boundary meetings, review and coordinate Principal Contractor areas and contribute to ALO roles and tasks.
You will be required to work closely with the Agricultural Liaison Officers, The client and Valuers.
Liaise with all internal Site teams to ensure land acquisition, lead in time and duration are relevant to the programme. You will need to take ownership of specific Undertakings and Assurances related to Land Access and Land Possession. You'll also need to carry out land access checks using GIS to check survey location against possession information and or scheme limits.
The role may include coordination with other project contractors to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach is taken to deliver the land acquisition. The role will be based from either Birmingham initially, travel will be required to various site locations also.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma level qualifications in telecommunications, environment, community or Public Relations is preferred
- Data Management skills
- Knowledge of the Construction industry
- Familiar with rural or farming matters
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and be able to deal with conflict
- Full driving licence
- IT knowledge including use of GIS platforms
