Location: Stockport, Manchester
Hours/Days: 40 hours per week.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
• To coordinate RT9099 Plans
• To compile and check ‘Plant operations method statement’ including crane planning
• To ensure safe and on time delivery of the project / contract programme

KEY ACCOUNTABILITES (please note this is not an exhaustive list of duties but represents the main requirements of the role)
• Compile Lift Plans
• Check Lift Plans
• Implementing RT9099 on behalf of the project
• Co-ordinating site familiarisation among the team
• Site hazard identification and project hazard log
• Assisting and producing Work Package Plans and Task Briefings
• Managing the return of the briefing sheets & protection plans
• Assist other Lift/SSOW Planner(s) and provide holiday cover as required
• Undertake Role of On-Call Lift Planner as required through Balanced Rostering
• Complete the Planning Checklist – Manually Propelled Trolley Operation
• Ensure that a Safe System of Work is maintained and hierarchy of RT9099 is adhered to
• Collaboration with Construction Manager, Supervisor, Lead Tech, Technical Officer’s.
• Ensure that COSS, M/C and C/C paperwork is produced for all work
Person Specification
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• IT literate including MS Office
• Working on AC and DC electrified lines and have an underpinning knowledge of isolation procedures
• Experience of crane planning
• Experience of producing RT9099 plans
• Working with SafeGuarded, Fenced, Separated Possessions
• Knowledge of SSOW Planning Principles
• Knowledge of use of Radios and Duplex Communications

- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including use Excel to record and extract information
- Experience of managing leading and motivating teams
- Ability to plan schedule and programme a project and manage all aspects of the project cycle
