ATA Rail are proud to be working in partnership with one of the one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary railway infrastructure contractors to source 4 experienced OLE Supervisor's for their specialist rail division in the North West.

If you are successful in securing the role you will be working on the following;

• Electrification
• OLE

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Implement all instructions received from Project Manager, Safety & Standards Manager and Clients.
• Organisation, allocation and control of site operatives including but not restricted to: Direct labour, sub contract labour, plant operators.
• Delivery of allocated work packages in accordance with safety, quality, technical, planning and budgetary requirements
• Weekly reporting of all contractual site activities.
• Accident and incident reporting and investigation
• Safety Inspections and reporting.
• Assist with tender and estimate preparation.
• Undertake any necessary training.
• Maintain good site discipline and industrial relations.
• Identify staff training needs and assessment of direct reports
• Deputise for Project Manager as and when required
• Be of a presentable appearance commensurate with allocated duties at all times.
• Lead and direct by example.
• Ensure site noise is kept to a minimum and disruption to the railway's neighbours is kept to a minimum.
• To alert Senior Management to any non-conformance or deficiency in quality, materials, services or workmanship
• Liaison and communication with staff and contractors plus all relevant external contacts as required in order for discharging the duties and responsibilities of this JD/SRS
• Responsible for operating within the practice and procedures of the quality system.
• The discharge of these safety critical duties and responsibilities within this JD/SRS and any other safety critical competencies are mandatory upon the post holder.

Experience required

• You will be self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirement for this role.
• OLE experience is essential

Qualifications Needed

• PTS
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

The remuneration package for this role is as follows;

• Salary depending on experience
• +car or car allowance, Overtime, Pension, fuel card, phone, laptop
• 25 days' annual leave + 8 days' bank holiday
