PICOT / TIC - Telecoms

Location: Based in York with UK wide travel
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, Company Vehicle, Pension Scheme

Hcomm are looking to recruit a Telecoms PICOT / TIC (Person In Charge Of Testing / Tester In Charge) to be based in our York office but with UK wide travel.

The PICOT / TIC must be competent to carry out the nominated role of PICOT / TIC on behalf of Hcomm on Network Rail projects.

Experience of both Operational Telecoms and SISS Projects is preferred and the individual must be able to demonstrate recent experience and Network Rail sign off in these roles.

The PICOT / TIC will support Hcomm project delivery by producing Test Strategies, Test & Commissioning Plans and Test Specifications

The PICOT / TIC will be required to lead, manage and carry out on site testing.

Testing experience is required in:

• FTN copper and fibre cables
• FTN Transmission Systems
• SPT & Telephone Concentrator systems
• SISS (especially IP CCTV)
• Ethernet

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

• ASR 903 routers
• Keymile
• VL-VT
