PPM Engineer - (planned preventative maintenance)
Location: (all areas between 2 x Kings Lynn and St Albans & 1 x Bognor Regis)
Salary: £10.00 - £13.00 per hour
Duration: Permanent
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week within operational timeframe requirements of 5:00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available (in order to meet the operational needs of the business the requirement to cover some out of hours and night works will be necessary)
K H Engineering Services Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a PPM Engineer to work on a newly awarded Train Operating Company contract between Kings Lynn and St Albans, and Bognor Regis.
A PPM Engineer is required to carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) including minor electrical repairs and PPM following a programme of works that covers re-lamping, lamp cleaning and Portable Appliance Testing and Emergency Light Testing whilst working efficiently and effectively with full attention on health and safety compliance. The successful candidate is expected to work within the requirements of a Client specified Works Package Plans and deliver high standards of work and adopt a Client centred approach to all jobs undertaken.
Applicants must have or be willing to work toward attaining;
• City & Guilds 2377-22 & 2377-32 PAT Testing course
• City & Guilds 17th Edition
• Personal Track Safety AC (DCCR) (PTS) including in date Industry Common Induction (ICI) would be advantageous however full training will be given to the successful candidates
• Experience of working in an Electrical environment
