About The Role

Job title: Pipelayer

Drain / Pipelayers are responsible for assembling and connecting pipe systems for water mains, sewers, and drains.

This would include:

- Working as part of a gang
- Measuring and configuring pipe routes
- Gathering material and installation tools
- Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools
- Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators
- Removing old or broken piping systems
- Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers
- Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue
- Installing auxiliary lines
- Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings
- Filling and sealing pipe trenches
- Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with pipelayer ganger

Location: Kenilworth, between Leamington Spa and Coventry

Required:

• CSCS Green OR Blue card + pipelaying experience + EUSR card

Rates: £19.63ph PAYE

Hours: Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 5:30pm (1 hours break each day)

30 days holiday entitlement per annum and pension scheme

Overtimes:

During the week, over 10 hours per day at x1.33 and weekends at x1.5

Lodge allowacne of £49.08 per shifts (taxable) available for candidates located over 50 miles away from the job.

Successful canididate would need to pass drug and alcohol test and HS2 induction prior to starting the job.
