My client in London is looking for a Principal Transport Planner on a Permanent Staff basis.
Salary - £45-50,000 depending on experience

Principal/Associate Transport Planner, London
We are currently looking for a Principal/Associate level Transport Planner to help shape and drive our talented Transport Planning team.
The Role
The role involves undertaking both analytical work - such as trip generation, modelling, road safety audits, carbon footprint calculations to provide a solid basis for the proposal of any mitigation strategies and written work - Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements. Communication skills are key when liaising with clients and stakeholders along with the ability to manage projects effectively (within time and budget) staying focussed on the end goal and overcoming obstacles as you progress. Working closely with our Director of Transport Planning, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to step into a senior role and help shape the future of our Transport Planning team.
Your experience
The successful candidate will have experience of leading the delivery of projects working under minimum supervision based on an in depth knowledge of and working experience of implementing the principles of transport planning. You will have strong technical capabilities with a focus on traffic modelling along with experience of client management including preparation of fee proposals. A civil engineering background is desirable with the ability to undertake preliminary junction/highway design. You will actively enjoy working in a team and sharing your knowledge.
