EWI are supporting a leading European Consultancy firm in their search for highly qualified professionals to join their team for major Design & Construction projects in the Mass Transit and Railway sectors. Available Roles:
1. Project Manager
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Degree in Engineering.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in engineering services for Design & Construction projects, preferably in the Mass Transit, Metro Systems, or Railway sectors, including civil works and railway systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all required standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
- Oversee planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and contractual requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage risks, and monitor project progress, budget, and schedule.
- Serve as the primary interface with stakeholders, ensuring quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
2. System Integration (Interface) Manager
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Degree in Engineering.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in system integration, interface management, and/or rail systems engineering, preferably in the Mass Transit, Metro Systems, or Railway sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate design activities, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals.
- Manage system interfaces for seamless integration across civil works, track, rolling stock, signalling, power supply, telecom, and rail systems.
- Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with safety, interoperability, and project requirements.
- Liaise with design teams and track project milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders, supporting design validation, testing, and commissioning.
- Oversee documentation, change control, and technical negotiations to ensure alignment across all disciplines.
3. MEP (TVS/FLS) Expert
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in MEP, Tunnel Ventilation Systems (TVS), and Fire Life Safety (FLS) for Design & Construction projects, preferably in the Mass Transit, Metro Systems, or Railway sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and/or review of MEP systems, including power supply, HVAC, plumbing, drainage, tunnel ventilation systems, and fire life safety systems.
- Develop and validate tunnel ventilation strategies (TVS) to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Ensure integration of MEP and FLS systems into infrastructure.
- Coordinate interfaces among MEP, civil, and rail system designs to optimize solutions.
- Conduct technical meetings and technical assessments with design teams.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and local regulations.
- Lead and supervise technical teams, collaborating with other discipline leads.
4. Rail Systems Expert
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in rail systems engineering, preferably in the Mass Transit, Metro Systems, or Railway sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in the design, implementation, and commissioning of rail systems, including track, power supply, signaling, telecommunications, and rolling stock.
- Ensure integration of rail systems with civil works and other engineering disciplines.
- Oversee design validation and ensure compliance with safety, operational, and technical standards.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and manage risks.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align solutions.
- Manage system testing and commissioning, ensuring smooth system performance.
- Ensure documentation, change control, and compliance with regulations.
