An international Rail Operator is now hiring experienced Freight Train Drivers to join the Train Crew team. This organisation is part of a global freight group that are growing considerably in the UK. Key Skills:

• Previous Freight driving experience would be an advantageous
• Passenger train driving experience can be considered in light of other skills
• Good reported incident rate
• Good route knowledge
• Mainline experience
• Good attendance record

Person Specification:

• The ability to react quickly, calmly and safely to unexpected problems
• A responsible attitude and a high level of safety awareness
• A willingness to work flexibly
• Good ability to concentrate over long periods
• Experience of working shifts including nights
• Good communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• An excellent understanding of normal and emergency procedures

In return our client are able to offer final salary pension benefits, annual review of pay as standard & the opportunity to earn overtime if so desired. A standard working week is 35 hours.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Train Driver to work with a global rolling stock organisation that support and develop their staff.
