Rail Systems Expert: Tel Aviv Metro

My client is a large international railway engineering consultancy looking to recruit an experienced Rail Systems Expert for the Tel Aviv Metro project in Israel. Tel Aviv a fantastic beach front location and provides excellent work life balance.

The candidate shall have a significant familiarity and technical knowledge on issues related to electro-mechanical systems and their integration, on quality assurance processes, on system engineering disciplines (safety, RAM, requirements management, interface management, testing and commissioning, etc.), and auditing tasks.

Within the quality and assurance team, the rail systems expert will be responsible for the following job functions

Act is primary interface with the Client on site.
Assure a proper management of the Scope of Work, both considering technical and coordination aspects.
Prepare Audit Plans, prepare and / or review project documentation to be delivered to the Client till final approvals.
Be responsible for all technical aspects that may arise concerning the role role.
Take initiative as problems and opportunities arise, and meet Clients needs and company expectations.

Requirements to apply

Degree qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or science based discipline with sufficient technical skills.
10+ years of overall railway systems engineering, design and integration experience.
5+ years experience in assurance, safety and audits.
5+ years of metro or LRT rail systems is an advantage.
English language is essential.
