S&T Supervisor in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Aston, United Kingdom
Our client, based in Aston, West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an S&T Supervisor on a permanent contract. Our client is proud to be a leading international infrastructure group with a diverse and inclusive workforce.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary offered is up to £55,000, based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in the sector and excellent knowledge of Rules and Regulations, H.A.S.A.W, financial controls and other appropriate regulations.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assist in the detailed planning and execution of all signaling aspects of Track Renewal and Enhancement Works as allocated by the Construction Manager S&T
- Oversee the planning and directing of the activities of signaling staff
- Attend relevant meetings as required and participate in the Alliance Safety Briefing Programme
- Manage the work to meet agreed financial targets, performance KRAs and other KPI’s
- Ensure works are compliant with all relevant Safety Legislation, Welfare Regulations, technical specifications, processes and procedures and Network Rail Group and Line Standards
- Undertake the delivery of works monitoring that any staff deployed on the Worksites are trained and competent
- Optimise the utilisation of resources in delivery of all works
- Undertake safety inspection as stipulated in organization procedures and requirements
- Submit Daily Work Returns (Planned v Actuals) in a timely manner
- Undertake accident/incident investigations as required
Experience and expertise required:
- Demonstrable experience in Signalling Installation or maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of Rules and Regulations, HASAW and other appropriate
regulations, including Group Standards - Knowledge of financial controls
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and man management skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Ability to drive
- PTS, COSS and SMTH

Working hours:
- 42 hours per week
