Our client is an EPCM provider in the Australian Market & has earned an international reputation for being involved in the infrastructure component of major mining & industrial projects across the world. With the ever expanding rail market our client is looking for an experienced Alignment Engineer to join their rail team & be based out of their Brisbane office.

Your duties would include:

• Produce conceptual drawings for rail
• Coordination with various authorities and other consultants
• Preparation of final drawings
• Responsible for delivering sound and cost effective design
• Resolve engineering issues with consultants and Authorities
• Take projects from design phase through to completion and support the design team

To be successful you will ideally have

A recognized Degree in Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in AutoCad / Microstation and relevant knowledge of rail scheming
Proficiency in MX roads / MX rails and Microstation software
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

For the right individual the client would provide financial assistance with relocation & the processing of the 457 visa.
