About Role:

A major engineering consultancy working on range of Building Structures are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Design Engineer, being based in Glasgow. Within the position which there is a clear line of progression to Associate Director, in which the consultancy are looking to train and develop the relevant candidate.  

Within this role, you will act as a key component of the team and will be involved in a range of projects including commercial office developments, leading healthcare facilities, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

As the Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will lead a team of structural engineers and design technicians, as well as supervising and mentoring junior members.

You will also provide technical advice and will be heavily involved in implementing conceptual designs and planning the design process. Furthermore, you will be responsible in preparing fee proposals and supporting major bids.

You must have previous success as a Structural Design Engineer for delivering high quality designs. Additionally, you must be willing to take on a leadership role.

Furthermore, you must be proficient in Robot, ProKon, STAAD, Tekla or Master series.

This position will be based in Glasgow.

Job Requirements:

• Should hold Chartered status
• Proven examples of success in delivering high quality designs for major Structural projects
• A strong understanding of ROBOT, ProKon, STAAD, Tekla, Master series or similar.
• Previous experience working with Construction Contractors
