Planner Birmingham

An Infrastructure specialist comprising of engineering and construction services active in sectors that include rail, power and water. They are renowned for investing in their staff and plant providing a highly skilled and equipped workforce for their clients. They are now looking to add to their rail planning capabilities by recruiting a high calibre Senior Rail Planner to work on a contract basis out of Birmingham.

The Role

You will have responsibility for:

Resourcing, costing and preparation of tender and construction programmes

Application of project and activity codings to enable production of programmes and reports.

Monitoring of design and construction progress through weekly trackers by pro-actively chasing update information.

Programme updates, progress reports and impacting events resulting in compensation events and early warnings

About You

You will have:

Experience of working as an Engineer or Site Engineer.

Be able to produce a full construction programme from reference to the contract documentation and drawings with minimal input from project managers.

Experience of tender planning

Minimum of 5 years planning experience

Expert user of Primavera P6 Planning Software package

Have a pro-active attitude

Prior experience of CP5 Programme works Framework.
