We are looking for a slingers signallers to join team on HS2 site based in central Birmingham

Requirements: CPCS Red OR Blue card - slinging all types all duties, driving licence and own transport

Candidates with red card are required to hold at least 1 year experience on the job.

We will be able to offer a taxable lodge allowance of £43.74 per shift (taxable) for candidates located over 50 miles away from the job.

About the role

• Establish the weight and dimensions of loads and communicate this information to the crane operator
• Select appropriate lifting tackle and attach and detach it correctly and safely
• Use clear and unambiguous signals to direct the actions of a crane moving loads of various weights and dimensions
• Determine the serviceability of lifting accessories, and maintain and store them.

Role will mainly require you to sling on tower and mobile cranes.

Rates: £17.58 ph PAYE (with 30 days paid holidays, pension scheme)

Hours: 7.30am - 6pm Monday - Friday (1 hour break each day) + Compulsorary 1x Saturday per month required.

Overtimes;

After more then 10 hours a day during the week at x1.33 and weekend at x1.5

Full time, ongoing role.
