ABOUT THE JOB

If you are looking for a systems engineering position, then look no further-this is certainly the job you’ve been waiting for! To give you a bit of background information you will be working within a successful team of Systems Engineers dedicated to their own specific system on board a top of the range fleet of EMU’s. You will identify ways to improve the performance, reliability and safety of your defined system by reviewing trends, analysing previous faults and then implementing the necessary engineering solution.

You will become the technical expert on your system and will certainly be the go to person for top advice! That’s some great responsibility to have and something to be particularly proud of!

Day to day you will be report to the Technical Development Manager as well as liaising with Planners, Production Managers and other engineers in the department so having great communication skills and being an all-round people person will definitely help.

THE SALARY

• £42,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, you will also receive a final salary pension, free rail travel, 37-hour week Mon-Fri work! No shifts J

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

In order to become a rolling stock system specialist, you will need a minimum HNC/HND in an engineering discipline, at least 2 years of working on rolling stock systems and the ability to use your experience to solve engineering issues.
