The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Ford & Stanley is the first step on the ladder in an individual's career in recruitment. A sales based role that will combine candidate management, developing new client relationships whilst learning their industry and the basics of recruitment - essentially developing a strong platform and foundation on which to build a highly successful career.

Introduction to the position:
The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Ford & Stanley is the first step on the ladder in an individual's career in recruitment. A sales based role that will combine candidate management, developing new client relationships whilst learning their industry and the basics of recruitment.
Main responsibilities:
- Source and interview candidates that are relevant to your sector and clients
- Sell opportunities to candidates and sell candidates to clients
- Generate sales opportunities by identifying and following up on leads gained from candidates, clients and networking events
- Assist senior team members in the advertising and selection process for vacancies allocated from existing clients
- Develop your own business knowledge
- Hit and achieve daily, weekly, monthly & yearly sales and productivity targets.
Skills and competencies:
- Excellent communication skills - face to face & telephone
- Commercial sales ability
- Ability & desire to learn and progress
- It Literate - Microsoft packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Emotionally intelligent
- Resilience - capable of dealing with the highs and lows of recruitment
- Approaches challenges with a logical mind-set
