Wanted! We have a new and exciting requirement for a Trainer / Assessor to carry out new training program to the current train cleaning teams who are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the trains are in top condition for public use for one of the UK’s leading train operating companies.

The Candidate:

We are seeking a confident and passionate person who enjoys the challenge of delivering a training program which helps develop the current train cleaning team who are performing a range of cleaning tasks to one of the UK’s key train operating companies’ passenger fleets.

The Role:

Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role! Your key responsibilities will be to deliver training programs to the cleaning teams to ensure their skills sets and capabilities using specialist cleaning machinery are up to a good quality standard where they are performing a high level of cleaning to the fleets and are meeting the required standards for service. The training ranges from teaching of how to use specialist cleaning equipment, PPE and more. There will be lots of travel in this role as you will be required to travel to multiple depots across the patch to deliver training to the teams on the ground.

Requirements:

If you’re loving the sound of this, here’s what you need to be considered for the role! Relevant experience within training / assessing, an ideal background will be in the cleaning / facilities management or rail sector. Flexibility is key as you will be required to cover various locations across your region, with the trips to stay away also required with days, nights and weekend work required. An added advantage will see you hold a railway standard medical and D&A (must be in date), have a current IOSH managing safety certificate, level 3 in training & development and hold an assessor qualification or train trainer qualification. You must have a current UK driving licence to fulfill this role.

If successful at interview via our internal interviewing platform and offered a role you will be required to attend a medical and drug & alcohol appointment at a local medical centre and provide your eligibility to work in the UK.

Working Hours and Rate of Pay

Day Shift - 06:00am/08:00am – 15:00pm/16:00pm - £16.53 p/h

Night Shift- 18:00pm/20:00pm – 06:00am - £17.36 p/h.

5 days per week – 35/37 hours per week.
