Job Title: Trainer Assessor Traction & Rolling Stock
Location: London Depots (Field Based)
Salary: £45-50k (junior) £50-£55k (senior)
You will help deliver traction and roliling stock training and progress staff development. This will be at all levels from entry level semi-skilled staff that are new to the industry to helping further develop and maintain the competencies of existing technicians.
Activities for Which Responsible
1.In conjunction with the Competency Manager, responsible for entering data into the technical competency management system to support the needs of Fleet and Field Services.
2.Carry out competency assessments on Production staff, certifying competence and ensuring records are maintained to an auditable standard that meet that meets the requirements of current legislation.
3.Update and maintain the assessment database
4.Carry out Risk Assessments on appropriate work tasks at our Fleet site.(if required)
5.Identify training needs and provide training and coaching as appropriate.
6.Develop and deliver training courses, technical and other ie. Depot protection, COSHH, manual handling, site induction etc
7.Carrying out inprocess audits, product assurance and compliance checks at Fleet / depot location.
Training Critical to the Position
Qualified assessor (D32/33 or A1)
Engineering background and experience.
Fully literate and numerate, computer literate.
