WAD Coordinator, South East London, 12month contract
WAD Coordinator required to join a large subcontractor based in a site office in South East London.
This is a 12 month contract looking for someone to start immediately
Hours are 8:00am-5:30pm
Rates are between £300-£350 LTD per day
You will be responsible for:
* Maintaining the WAD register
* Gathering the WAD requests
* Issue the relevant WAD applications to enable staff to carry out work
* Editing a weekly WAD notice and a WAD form when required;
* Communicating the change of status for a Comlot at IRN stage;
* Managing traction power room access control on site in coordination with the Power Supply Manager and the Permit office;
* Co-chair the weekly planning meeting and the Daily Notice with the Operations Planner to manage and coordinate planned works;
* Coordinate with the WAD Coordinators on other projects;
* Ensure all relevant parties attend the planning meetings or are prevented from accessing/approaching the equipment;
* Formulate a list of contacts including all third parties and update the list in a timely manner;
* Successful candidates must have:

* Experience of working for a large organisation with multi disciplines
* 5 years experience within this industry
* Knowledgeable of the Operational safety rules that apply to rail and guided transport systems within a construction and commissioning environment
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Construction Site filing and record keeping
* Experience of working within a construction site environment / office
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
