The Role:
You will be required to work in a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.
You will work on the Buildings Framework for Network Rail undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to station platforms & station buildings.
You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are used, stored & disposed of correctly and any defects are reported immediately to H&S and / or your Manager.
Teamwork is key in delivering our works effectively, therefore when you aren't required to use your daily skills / trades on the job, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties to ensure collaboration in meeting deadlines.
Requirements
Operatives will need to be multi skilled but have a good trade or experience in construction trades
- PTS
- Joinery
- Bricklaying
- General Construction Building
Preferred qualifications:
Advantageous qualifications:
COSS, SSSTS, SMSTS, PASMA, IPAF, small tools, Temporary works supervisor/coordinator, First Aid, street works, IRATA, rail trolley, weed spray, chainsaw, strimmer etc.
