MPI are looking for OLEC3 positions on a large railway project. Mix of days and nights over 18/06/23-26/06/23

• Check OLEC materials whilst installing and report any shortages or defects to your supervisor.
• Be capable to undertake works alone
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly and legible. Undertake safety critical roles to assist the business’ needs.
• When acting as protection staff i.e. COSS, machine controller, look out etc ensure you have all the required equipment.
• Ensure that all tools, plant and equipment you are using are in good working order and fit for purpose.
• Ensure you receive briefings from your site managers / supervisors regarding the work to be carried out including the content of risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure you receive a briefing from your COSS regarding the railway safety protection in place i.e. possession details, isolation details etc.
• Take note and accept all Toolbox Talks and briefings (internal & external).

Experience

• Practical OLEC experience, training and OLEC theory training is essential.
• Qualified to OLEC 2 and 3.
• Valid PTS card
• Practical OLEC experience
• Practical OLEC training
• OLEC theory training
