Competencies
Wide Knowledge and proven skills in Methodology of SIEMENS OCS Installation principles starting from OCS
Pole erection, calculation, installation, and adjustment of cantilevers, rigid conductor rail and contact wire etc..
Efficient scheduling, look ahead planning, tasking and other generated reports.
Knowledge of SIEMENS catenary system equipments strongly desired.
Degree educated in Industrial Structure/ Mechanical Engineering Structural/ Mechanical Engineering.
Ability to coordinate and multi-task in demanding engineering or tight situations.
Wide previous- knowledge and experience in reading and understanding designs, installation principles.
Strong Installation and Understanding skills in Mechanical discipline.
Strong supervisory skills with applied HSE practices.
Experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment
Microsoft office applications for reporting and documentations.
Experience 12 years of intensive experience in installation of overhead catenary systems.
Experience in designing and engineering overhead catenary for rail systems or overhead line equipments.
Others Excellent English communication skills

Overhead Catenary System Engineer
Tasks
Prepares planning, scheduling and look ahead plan including daily manpower work tasks loading, coordinates
with other department/ contractors and attends regular progress
Organize the work tasks of Overhead catenary system (OCS) Installation in a competent and consistent way
so that all key activities are properly controlled. Ensuring the OCS installation complies with the documents
and that quality requirement and deadlines are met.
Conducts mandatory safety toolbox & training to workers, assisting in implementation & adherence to HSE
regulations and quality management at all times.
Support the Site Installation Manager and in charge of making sure that the relevant SIEMENS OCS
equipments are installed in conformity with the Basic/Detailed Designs, installation procedures, QA-QC
system and the time schedule.
Coordinate,update and report on all technical aspects to the Site Installation Manager.
Perform pre-check documentation before installation, supervision of equipment installation, post-check
documentation after installation.
Supervising and monitoring the OCS Installation team. Request and handlle the site work permit system for
OCS Installation works and ensure that safety rules are followed at all times at site.
Being willing to work on railway construction sites and under hot and humid conditions
Participate in weekly/monthly installation meetings for updation and preparation of installation OCS
schedules,manpower and material requirement etc.
Schedule, support and partially lead of client inspections.
Provides timely reports, progress picture reports, event report maybe deficiencies, hindrance notification,
delays, damage report or other generated reports
