We are currently recruiting for a Principle Project Planner on behalf of the Network Rail, London.

As a Principle Project Planner, your main responsibilities would be:
- The role will develop and maintain plans and schedules for the Portfolio and its contained Programmes and Projects.
- Development of fully resourced and costed Programme plans using data provided by the Portfolio, Programme and Project management teams.
- Maintain plans and schedules of reporting for the Portfolio. Monitor progress and refine plans and schedules, implementing change and configuration control systems as appropriate.
- Identify and monitor interdependencies within the Portfolio and contained plans.
- Provision of progress reports to each Programme Manager, to include performance and schedule information.
- Identification of key variances within Programmes and presentation of effective and compelling data in support of findings.
- Critical path analysis and trend forecasts.
- Provide assistance for Portfolio Manager, Programme Managers and Bid Managers. Other duties as required
- Including liaison with sub-contractors, collating progress information and project programme updates
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Primavera standard planning tool
- Microsoft office packages
- Knowledge of other planning systems (desirable)
- Project Management or at least (if not) Strong understanding of a PM duties
- Experience of using Network Rails Systems is essential
