We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E&P Project Engineer to join one of the UK's most successful companies on their rail framework, based in Glasgow. This position boasts the financial backing and support from a powerhouse in the industry with contract longevity and up to £350/day rate. You will be a key member in an ambitious and innovative team involved in bid development, tender process and onsite project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside Lead Project Manager and Commercial Management
• Utilise technical knowledge to assist with the bid development, tender process and project completion
• Implement company procedures to deliver a high quality, cost effective and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities
• Apply engineering controls and procedures to all projects and check whether all design and construction contracts are in line with company standards
• Onsite management - in control of H&S, reporting, subcontractors and general on site activities

Essential

• Significant experience in engineering disciplines with involvement in rail and design projects
• Technical qualifications to at least HNC level or equivalent
• Knowledge of site management, safety procedures and quality assurance
• Understanding of AutoCAD and Amtech
• Valid PTS

Desirable

• Five or more years in an E&P Project Engineer position
• Experience using AutoCAD and Amtech on previous projects
• Site Management experience in a rail environment
• Telecomms experience
