Electrical Production Technician – Cable Assembler

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £9.50 P/H plus bonus
Contract Type: Perm / Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Production Technician to join our expanding company based in St Albans, Hertfordshire working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

We are a well-established, leading manufacturer and supplier of cable assemblies, fibre optics, connectors and tooling to the Telecoms, Broadcast, Transport, Aerospace and Satellite Industries throughout the UK and abroad, with a commitment to providing and delivering an unrivalled quality of service to all of our customers.

As an Electrical Production Technician your duties will include:

• Involvement in all aspects of shop floor production for the manufacture of cable assemblies to the Telecoms, Broadcast, Satellite, Transport and Aerospace Industries.

The ideal Electrical Production Technician will hold the following skills and experiences:

• A good understanding of the manufacturing process.
• An excellent ability in preparation and termination of many different types of cables and connectors, using various methods of soldering and crimping of coaxial and multi-core cables.
• Must be an adaptable and flexible person, and be able to work as part of a friendly team.

In return, you will receive a salary of £9.50 per hour, plus holidays and bonus.
