An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator (Test Capable) based in Plymouth. The Production Operator will be a team member of the Flexible Production cell.
Role:
The successful candidate will be able to carry out all mechanical assembly and electrical wiring work associated with the manufacture of equipment.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manufacture individual cables and looms as detailed in Wiring Drawings and Wiring Schedules
- Interpret manufacturing documentation to be able to produce labels to identify Wayside and Onboard enclosures
- Perform standard point to point and electrical safety tests as defined in test instructions
- Install electrical and electronic equipment as detailed in Assembly Drawings and/or Work Instructions
Essential Requirements:
- ONC level minimum in the discipline of Electronic/Electrical Engineering
- Experience of assembly, wiring and testing of a similar safety critical products
- Experience of Free Writing equipment racks or cubicles
- Experience using electronic test equipment
Desirable:
- Experience investigating production and test faults
- Experience using Windows software
