Project Manager - E&P Projects - Circa £50-60k (+package) dependant on Experience - Hertfordshire based

Role:
E&P or Signalling Rail Engineering Background Project Manager is required to carry out rail E&P site works of various across Network Rail Infrastructure. The position to be based out of the Hertfordshire Office.

Qualifications:
Candidates who will be successful for this position will have an ONC / HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering

A good understanding of Rail E&P assets including:-

• Signalling Power Supplies of Various Voltages
• TN / IT / Class II Systems
• Earthing and Bonding Arrangements
• Point Heating
• Level Crossing Lighting
• Shore Supplies
• Station Lighting
• Transformers
• Electrical Loadings of Rail Assets
• Special Inspections Notices applicable to E&P Assets
• Equipotential Bonding of Assets
• Walkway Lighting
• Junction Lighting
• A very good understanding of Signalling Power Systems and the affect's on the Signalling System.
• Understands when and where Non Conceptual Design process can be used.
• Able to read E&P and Signalling Drawings and use the information from the drawings as required within tender submissions.
• Up to speed on the latest NR Standards for all E&P Assets
• Excellent skills in writing PQQ's and Technical Methodologies for tenders.
• Excellent presentation skills both putting together PowerPoint Presentations for tenders and presenting as and when required.
• Capable of putting together a Cost to Complete Programme for their Projects.
• Manage Projects robustly to ensure they are delivered safely, at the right quality whilst achieving the financial targets.
• Attend CVR's and be able to explain all costs on the project identifying potential savings and gains.
• Able to use P6 Primavera Programmes
• Produce Periodic Reports for the client on their projects.
• Capable of managing various differing projects at one time.
• Good leadership skills
• Able to drive a delivery team to achieve the desired results
