Rolling Stock Production/ MOD’s Manager required on an initial 5-month contract for an exciting new rolling stock manufacture based in Cardiff.

We are working with one of the UK’s new train manufacturers to support them in the core delivery of new trains across the UK market. With a number of exciting roles opening they have identified a core need for a Production/MOD’s Manager to support with key programs of work across various fleet at their new production facility.

I have listed below the core responsibilities within the role:

• Act as Team Lead to ensure daily / weekly modifications schedules are produced.
• Plan modification activities to allow for maximum efficiency utilising the staff available across production
• Liaise with the Factory Manager to report progress and schedule.
• Liaise with the factory project manager to report progress
• Liaise with the Health & Safety / Quality & Methods departments to ensure all work is carried out in accordance to local policies.
• Produce tracking matrixes and relevant KPI’s

As a Production/ MOD’s Manager you will be based on a Monday to Friday working week with flexibility within your working hours. You will be based on a competitive day rate for the duration of the contract.
