Due to continued expansion, we seek an Assistant Project Delivery Manager to support us in providing Site Access Control resources to various railway sites across the UK. We require someone who can work flexibly and is willing to travel, and they should be an energetic, dynamic individual with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluent English – written and verbal.
- IT literate.
- Confident communicating with clients, including site and project managers.
- The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail for the production of accurate reports and data management.
- Able to work under pressure to meet timescales.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of the rail industry.
- Previous site access experience in any industry.
- General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
Hours:
40 hours per week Tuesday to Sunday as required. A mixture of remote working both on site and from home and working with the rest of the team from our office in Ashford, Kent. As well as some occasional travel to sites across the UK, you may also be required to stay in overnight accommodation from time to time.
Key accountabilities:
- Assisting with the expansion of our Site Access Management Solution across the UK, including new clients and regions.
- Organising resources and deploying site access controllers to worksites in accordance with work banks.
- Liaising with Site Access Controllers on a weekly basis.
- Conducting site visits to ascertain conditions and facilities and to meet site and programme managers.
- Assist in the successful delivery of projects to time, cost and quality requirements in accordance with the clients’ standards and relevant legislation.
- Management of databases.
- Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide regular reports to Project Delivery Manager and Managing Director.
- Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Manager and covering his role in his absence.
Salary:
£22-£29k DOE and provided with a vehicle for company use.
Training:
Full training will be provided.
