Assistant Project Manager – PMO
1 Month Contract
My client, a large Transport Provider, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (PMO) to join their team. This will be a multi-faceted role, with a wide range of roles and responsibilities. You will be there to generally help the senior members of staff plan and scope out their workstreams and programmes, along with documenting and assisting with other stakeholder's plans. You will play a key role in a fast-paced and flexible organisation, where hard-work and excellent organisation skills will be rewarded.
Key skills:
- Any exposure to Bidding / Transport is highly desirable
- Strong administrative skills
- A positive, ‘can do’ approach
- Happy to turn their hand to anything and ‘muck in’ regardless of the task
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Taking minutes and actions from meetings
- Following up on actions
- Building and inputting project plans- Excel skills required
- Managing risk and issues registers
- Managing clarification question process
- Booking meetings and travel arrangements
- Strong IT skills, ideally experience of Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint, Workfront.
