ABOUT THE ROLE & THE COMPANY
Based on site in East Anglia, you will be working on a large Infrastructure project for an End-Client that is very well known in the Rail industry. With 18 months left on the project, this is your opportunity to secure your finances for the long term as it expected you will see the project out until final handover.

As Assistant Project Manager, you will be someone that particularly enjoys the office side of projects as opposed to being out on site full time. You will have technical Engineering knowledge in terms of being able to read and translate designs and you must be au fait with all types of Project-related paperwork and documentation. The project includes disciplines in many areas of the Rail industry so any previous exposure to this is beneficial as too is exposure to various different stakeholders as liaison with these throughout the project is guaranteed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
I am looking for an Assistant Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering and/or Infrastructure Projects of a values into the £10’s of millions. Ideally from a Client-side background although not absolutely necessary. You will require technical knowledge as this is the programme you will be using. The role would suit someone with around at least 5 years of experience working as either a Site Engineer, a Section Engineer, an Agent or Construction Manager. What is particularly key for this role is being able to work on the client-side whilst spending the majority of your working day in an office and whilst Rail experience is a great benefit, it is not essential.

REMUNERATION
The rate for this position is £300 per day and your travel to and from the site will be fully subsidised.
