An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager our team responsible for the delivery of site works on East Coast Power Supply Upgrade (REAL Alliance). The position is based in York.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure that appropriate alliancing behaviours and 'best for project' approaches are adopted at all times, leading by example in the pursuit of successful delivery of the Programme to the benefit of all Alliance Members.
• Responsible for ensuring all activities are in compliance with all Network Rail standards and procedures.
• Ensure delivery of timely and accurate data collection, analysis and reports as requested.
• Communicate and highlight project process compliance issues as appropriate.
• Work within established financial procedures to assist in the production of basic plans and schedules for the project, and monitor and review financial information, in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure there is access to up-to-date and accurate information for the project.
• Independently collate and interpret data to prepare documents including project plans and schedules as directed.
• Take a proactive role in monitoring and evaluating data in order to identify opportunities and provide advice for the improvement of processes and systems.
• Complete complex, professional level tasks as requested by colleagues, prioritising case load and interpreting established policies in order to effectively support the delivery team.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide support to the project, acting as a focal point for operational project queries and ensuring they are collated and addressed.
• Ensure job files are kept up to date with all relevant documents.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties required in line with capabilities, the needs of the project.
