My client offers service and support for rail infrastructure telecommunication projects, providing innovative communications and security solutions.

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join the existing team, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a London Underground Project and will hold a HNC or degree in management and or working towards Project Management accreditation (APM Association, Prince 2 or similar) and have proven experience in delivery of multidisciplined design packages and integral installation work stream and experience delivering telecoms related projects into a Rail or Metro environment.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for;

• Supporting the delivery of the project, delivering on time and to budget.
• Ensuring Safety is maintained and promoted along with promoting the highest standards of safety at site.
• To establish & build relationships with partners, key suppliers, contractors & internal stakeholders.
• Managing supply chain and sub-contracts with confidence.
• Managing a range of design disciplines and projects; managing multiple demands and stakeholders at a given time.
