MTR Crossrail are looking to recruit a number of new senior key posts in our Control team to manage the on shift responsibility of running our safe and punctual high profile railway on a daily basis.
These roles will be supported by the Head of Control to create an engaged and motivated working environment and act as a role model to develop and maintain a culture that supports and encourages the team.
You will be involved in leading the development and delivery of all aspects of the short term operational strategy and facilitate the process whereby all safety of the line incidents are being managed appropriately. During incidents with significant business operational impact you will assume the role of Gold Command and contribute to the development and maintenance of up to date operational and safety policies and procedures, relating to train service delivery, control of operations and control personnel.
Can you demonstrate commitment to the continuous personal and professional development of our Control team?
Do you have a background in railway operations or current railway Control experience and a clear understanding of planning and resource issues in managing a real time rail environment?
In addition, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate knowledge of train crews and rolling stock, and the commitment to manage people to deliver high performance through the provision of team training, coaching and feedback. It would also be desirable that you have some signalling knowledge.
