Electrical Project Manager - London Underground

JLX Consultants require a Project Manager to work with Project Team in their London Office based at 55 Broadway, St James Park.

JLX have a current contract that involves the design and installation of new power radial circuits to new Communications Cabinets and associated communications equipment at over 120 London Underground Stations.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a high profile contract and as such the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following;

• Experience managing electrical projects on London Underground.

• Experience of building relationships with a range of people at all levels within and outside the organisation.
• An Electrical Engineering Degree and/or Higher National qualifications (or equivalent), and demonstrable evidence of technical expertise and Project Managment Experience.
• Provide electrical engineering / design/technical support to the Project Team.
• Full understanding of LU Standards and QUENSH
• Liaise with the Installation Project Team Manager and Electrical Designers to ensure all installation works adhere to standards and design, liase with operations manager , review nightly reports , produce progress/tracking reports, producing site packs and programs to ensure delivery to tight deadlines of the upmost quality.
• Complete ITP Plans and Safe Isolation Plans.
• Ability to manage their own working day.
• Excellent IT skills to include all aspects of Microsoft office , Auto Cad and Amtech Design Suite an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of carrying out technical document review and analysis.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.

Working Hours 08.00 – 16.30 however a flexible approach to working hours is desired.

If you wish to become part of the team on a high profile project, we can offer the successful candidate an initial 6 month contract at £250-300 per day.

Interviews commencing week beginning 27th November at our London Office (55 Broadway, St James Park) .Interviews will take place over the week with a start date of Monday 4th December.
