As Head of Governance in this client side rail organisation in Melbourne you will provide the contract management of the Infrastructure contract with our client for Infrastructure, central coordination of compliance to contract including planning and asset management, central coordination of access planning and commercial management of major contractors and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Contract management of the Infrastructure module of the franchise agreement with our client, including the role of infrastructures representative for contract management requirements
• Management and oversight of centralised contract governance and compliance functions within infrastructure
• Commercial management for our contract with our client
• Commercial management for our major contracts and major suppliers to support the teams engaging them across infrastructure
• Centralised coordination of planning, network access and asset management deliverables required to enable infrastructure compliance with our contract.

To be suitable for the role you will have:

• Bachelor of Engineering or similar related qualification
• MBA or business degree highly desirable
• At least 5 years experience managing the commercial aspects of a rail contract
• Knowledge and experience of rail infrastructure maintenance and renewals tasks
