We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Test and Commissioning to join our clients Mobility team to work on Rail Systems Projects. Based in either Brisbane or Melbourne (you pick), the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an area of the business that has immense market potential.

The Head of Test and Commissioning (Test and Commissioning Manager) is an expert in Test and Commissioning (T&C) for rail systems projects.

They lead the effort for the analysis of the rail system projects T&C requirements, development of test cases, planning, estimation, documentation and deliverables, T&C process development and improvement, resourcing, and implementation in consultation with the signalling engineers, and other key stakeholders. Their team will be involved in T&C activities for a number of different projects at any one time in different locations across the region. The T&C Manager will need to manage each of the T&C projects and ensure each is delivered according to planned time, cost and quality delivery targets.

As needed they will act as the Engineering interface for their areas of responsibility to the Customer, Project and Project Engineering Management, the Bid Group, R&D, Product Line Management, Engineering, technical interface partners, and other key stakeholders as necessary.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following:

• Professional experience of at least 8 years in Test and Commissioning for the delivery of Rail Systems projects preferably with some experience also in ETCS Projects.
• T&C experience with large projects in a complex stakeholder environment
• T&C on a variety of Rail Systems Projects.
• Ability to effectively lead teams
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and various external stakeholders
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification
• Ideally will have approved T&C Competency with one or more Rail Systems customers or authorities in Australia
